Opera 33 has been launched by Opera Software for desktops with bug fixes and new features. Along with the update, the new product logo has been unveiled recently to browser interface too. Its availability has been seen for Linux, OS X and Windows.
You can find this ‘O’ icon on the desktop screen, taskbar and menu button of this browser. Notably, this new logo has been unveiled by the company for reflecting the brand identity. With this 3-dimensional ‘O’, a gateway leads to more answers, more discoveries, more content, more fun, more communication and more data savings is symbolized. The firm said that whatever is sought online, Opera would help in doing more.
With this new brand icon, a way has already been made for Opera Mini on iOS and later on it has reached Opera on the Windows Phone. It has been explained by the company that with this red colored 3D icon, a final build is represented. A beta build is represented by a red-colored icon partially. With a white and black wireframe ‘O’ , a build for the developers is being represented. For computers, Opera 33 has a Turbo 2 Compression tech, through which images and more are compressed so that the web can be surfed fluidly by users even if the internet is slow.
The look of Opera has been cleaned up for Mac too. A shiny new vibrant toolbar has been given for matching the rest of the transparent look. Support for H264 video as well as Mp3 audio codecs on Linux has been added. Notably this browser is based on Chromium project. Several changes have been made on the blog and it includes a reduction of Chromium memory use.
