Disparate Pyaar Ka Punchnama which turned out to be a sleeper hit in 2011, its follow-up has already set the box office on absolute fire. Within three days of its release, Luv Ranjan’s directorial endeavor has struck the right chord with the audiences and is tiring and minting moolah at the ticket window.
So much so, that Kartik Aaryan and Nushrat Bharucha’s film has trampled Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s JAZBAA in its very opening weekend by collecting Rs 22 crore. While Sanjay Gupta’s directorial collected only Rs 15.24 crore within three days of its release, despite having big names like Aishwarya and Irrfan in the film. It couldn’t make audience glued to the screen.
Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh took to twitter to share the box office collection. The film which opened at Rs 6.80 crore on Friday went onto accumulate Rs 7.60 on Saturday and added another Rs 8 crore to its pot on Sunday. PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA 2 tells the story of three youngsters who are relentlessly being exasperated by their girlfriends.

Though the film has acknowledged mixed reviews from critics, it has been lauded by many from the B-Town. From Subhash Ghai to Varun Sharma, many took to twitter to light rainfall extolling on the recently released film.
