Veuon, the mobile app helps in connecting employers as well as job seekers with the help of GPS location technology. This was the main highlight of CeBit India 2015, this Friday.
With this application, job seekers can seek specific jobs that match his experience and qualification in some specific location, say for example 10km away in some particular city or so. On the other hand, talent can be sought by employer in some specific region such as posting job for an executive within 20 kms from the office.
Amarlal G Nichani the founder of this startup stated that employers as well as job seekers can search each other easily with this application within a given location. This is definitely a very disruptive and a unique technology in the field of HR. Developed in the month of April in Chennai, this application works on a revenue model wherein employer is charged for each job posting. A specific time limit is given and on the other hand, job seekers get a free facility.
The job providers have to post their requirements against a cost, while job seekers would be getting the details free. The algorithm of Veuon matches the employers as well as job seekers on various parameters such as distance, experience as well as skill set.
He also added that a solution such as Veuon would be quite help for all small companies which can’t ferry their employees over long distances and can find the talent easily near the office. Veuon has been sampled by 13 companies including HCL and at present, around 900 job seekers are there on the application.
