Questions pertaining to Ranbir Kapoor’s marriage to Katrina Kaif have been the talk of the town but his “Tamasha” co-star Deepika Padukone says the actor will not wed till the time she gives her waggle. Ranbir, 33, who dated Deepika for a year, shares a good-humored relationship with the actress post their gash and divide. “Ranbir can’t get married till I allow it…,” Deepika told the press.
Well one just needs to understand their friendship and appreciate that both of the actors are at their best and have moved on in their lives. This is something we don’t usually come across for generally actors take their different path and never cross each other but these both are true example to move on in life and face the people with equal zeal and energy.
To Deppika’s comment Ranbir, who has been dating Katrina for some time, added, “It’s a very big question about my life. I completely believe in the institution of marriage. When I will get married, I will let the whole world know about it.” Imtiaz Ali’s “Tamasha” is Ranbir and Deepika’s third film jointly after “Bachna Ae Haseeno” and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani”.
The co-stars took a train ride from Mumbai to Delhi to endorse their imminent film, which is slated to hit the screens this Friday. Ranbir and the “Piku” star started their career in 2008 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Saawariya” and Shah Rukh Khan starrer “Om Shanti Om”, correspondingly. “It feels just like yesterday. I saw Deepika outside ‘Saawariya’ sets walking across to ‘Om Shanti Om’ set.
Eight years have passed and we have no idea. We have worked hard and reached the point we have desired for in our lives,” Ranbir said. For Deepika, 29, Ranbir is still the unchanged person that she met eight years ago. “It’s a very unique situation. We have heard about actors debuting in the same year but actors’ debuting on the same day is something which does not happen normally. I hope he never changes. But it has been an amazing journey.”
