Saina defeated the former world champion Yihang Wang by 21-13 , 21-18 to reach the finals of China Open.
The World No.2 Indian player took just 42 minutes to beat the former world champion at the Haixia Olympic Sports Center. This is Nehwal’s third consecutive win against the reigning Asian Games gold medallist, bettering her record to 4-9. Saina scored 42 of the 73 points played in the semi final match .
First game was pretty equal for both the players till 14-13, after which Saina stormed to 21-13. Second game was pretty much easy for Saina .She dominated the game from the very beginning of the 2nd game.
With the win, World No.2 Nehwal has now made her fifth final of the year. She won two at the India Open Super Series and India Grand Prix Gold but lost the All-England and World Championships final to World No.1 Carolina Marin of Spain.
