On Wednesday, a new tablet was launched by Celkon dubbed CT722, having a price of Rs.4,999. The tablet would be sold by this tech firm exclusively from Snapdeal.
Celkon CT722 tablet is supportive of a single SIM and runs on the platform Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It has a WSVGA display with a resolution of 600 x 1024 pixels. A 1.1GHz quad-core Intel Atom x3-C3230RK processor along with 1 GB of RAM powers the tablet. The inbuilt storage capacity is 8 GM and can be expanded further up to 32 GB with the help of a microSD card.
The tablet sports a 3.2 megapixel rear camera and a 13 megapixel front camera. Talking about connectivity options, it has Bluetooth, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, EDGE, GPRS, USB-OTG and 3G. A 2800mAh battery powers the phone and its availability would be seen in Black and White color variants.

On Tuesday, Celkon says that 250 crores would be invested in manufacturing facilities in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the next 6 months. Both, tablets and mobile phones would be manufactured by facilities in Tirupati and Hyderabad.
