On Monday, a voice-calling tablet was launched by Creative Peripherals in India dubbed Smart SQ718 3G. The price of this budget tablet is Rs.8,999 and it is available only in Black color variant. This tablet runs on the platform Android 4.4.3 Kitkat-out-of-the-box. Dual-SIM support is offered by it along with the feature of voice-calling. It features a 7 inch WSVGA IPS Display along with a pixel resolution of 600 x 1024 and a density of 201.9ppi.
The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT8382 processor along with 1 GB of RAM. The tablet sports a 5 megapixel rear camera along with LED flash along with a 2 megapixel front camera. The inbuilt storage capacity of Smart SQ718 3G is 8 GB and is expandable up to 32 GB with the help of microSD card. Options of connectivity include EDGE, GPRS, A-GPS, GPS, USB-OTG, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 3G. A 3000mAh battery backs the tablet.
