2 months after the Pixel C was unveiled, on Tuesday, Google made an announcement that the availability of the tablet would be seen in select markets. The price of this 10 inch tablet is around Rs. 33,000. Along with the launch of Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P in an event in September, the Pixel C tablet was unveiled by Google, the 1st Android tablet in the lineup of Pixel. At that time, the company stated that the shipments of devices would start sometime later in this year.
Pixel C is a very premium tablet in Android that can be purchased today. Unlike the plastic body that is found on the Nexus 9 and other tablets, Pixel C would sport a sleek aluminum unibody frame and has a USB Type-C port.
Talking about the specifications, the display of the Pixel C is a 10.2inch one and has a resolution of 2560×1800. A Nvidia Tegra X1 SoC with 3GB of RAM powers it. The inbuilt storage capacity is 32 GB. A 64 GB variant is also there, which is available at a price of Rs.39,500.
Other features include a 2 megapixel front facing camera, an 8 megapixel rear camera and much more. Talking about the software, the platform on which the device runs is Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. A keyboard accessory is being sold by the company, which would connect the tablet through magnets and facilitates wireless charging. The price is around Rs.9,900. The availability of the tablet is seen in selected regions like United States. Nothing has been mentioned about the availability of Pixel C in India.
